Release of Enhanced Master Blaster Software Assists with Regulatory Compliance

READING, PENNSYLVANIA, USA, April 3, 2005 -- P-Wave, Inc., a leader in document and records management solutions for regulated industries, announces the release of Master Blaster V2.0, a web-based inventory and blast management application for the explosives industry.

A combination of four new and enhanced features a completely new inventory control system with improved tracking capabilities, enhanced job data reporting, Crystal Reports™ integration and support, and an easier-to-navigate host system-make the Master Blaster solution even more valuable for mining and construction industries or other ATF, DEP or DOT-regulated companies who are struggling to comply with U.S. government regulations and who need to control inventory and manage huge volumes of documents and data.

Master Blaster's V2.0 new inventory control system has several major blasting company-requested enhancements. These include: (1) transaction-based inventory control which provides users with the ability to view their current inventory balance and all transactions involved in creating that balance; (2) improved historical item tracking by date code, which allows users to see what happened to a specific item having a specific date code; (3) improved inventory detail visibility, which allows inventory filtering based on item, location, and/or date code; (4) automatic inventory-level notification by item and item location when the inventory level for an item falls below a user-defined level; and (5) an item bar code scanning option for faster, and more accurate inventory management.

The enhanced job data reporting capability gives managers and estimators more detailed, real-time information about blasting crew productivity, such as how many cubic yards were blasted each day and by which blasters, as well as each job's profitability.

While the initial version of Master Blaster had an easy-to-use interface, V2.0 has an improved host system interface with more main menu options, making Master Blaster even easier to navigate.

Lastly, Master Blaster V2.0 provides a Crystal Reports™ connector and support. Master Blaster is now a much more effective management and reporting tool because the Crystal Reports capability allows users to ask their own "what if" questions, resulting in custom reports which answer these questions.
