Master Blaster Integrates With Compu-blast To Offer
Complete And Compliant Blast Records Management Solution
READING, PENNSYLVANIA, USA, October 11, 2006 -- P-Wave, Inc., a leader in document and records management solutions for regulated industries, announces that its has partnered with White Industrial Seismology, Inc. to offer explosives companies a powerful solution to design and analyze blasts as well as manage all blast records in a secure centralized database. The partnership integrates Master Blaster™, P-Wave's inventory and blast management system with White Industrial Seismology, Inc.'s Compu-Blast, a blast design and timing analysis system. The result of the integration of Master Blaster with Compu-Blast will allow an end to end solution that will improve safety, efficiency and compliance with regulations for blasting companies.
While this ATF determination is not an ATF product endorsement, it does validate that the Master Blaster inventory management software system is in full compliance with the inventory records section of the Federal Explosives Law and Regulations. Recent ATF random company inspections have focused on explosive materials storage and transportation record accuracy. Because the ATF has publicly stated that it encourages accurate recordkeeping, this has caused many companies to closely examine their inventory management practices and systems and to implement changes that are both very easy to implement and cost effective.
Master Blaster is a blast and inventory management software system that dramatically improves documentation accuracy, minimizes paperwork, and allows for rapid search and retrieval of blast documentation and inventory records from a secure web browser anywhere, 24/7. Compu-Blast is a program that makes it easy to layout blast designs and calculate timing. There are also numerous blast reporting and analysis features. The integration of these programs will allow data and records to be saved and passed into Master Blaster which serves as the central repository for all blast related reports, data and records.
According to Mark Ferrero, P-Wave's President, "We are very excited about our partnership with White Seismology because we believe the explosives industry can benefit greatly from our combined product. Compu-Blast makes it very easy for blasters and explosives engineers to design and simulate virtually any blast and it is also very easy to use. The addition of Compu-Blast enables Master Blaster to provide a more complete blast record (which some state regulators and insurance companies require) by including the shot layout diagram as part of the blast record. The product integration is in line with P-Wave's commitment to maintain Master Blaster as a blast and inventory management solution that makes compliance much easier and less costly."
Similarly White Seismology's president Randy Wheeler says "The integration of Compu-Blast with Master Blaster opens up a whole new world of possibilities for the explosives industry. This partnership provides a complete software solution not currently readily available to the blasting industry."
